The Help page says ranks come from holdings and activity. Does posting count for anything?

Posting gets you nothing, on purpose. Hold, vote, swap. Activity is days holding, Merit is deals you took part in. The Help page has the table.
Check the holders tab before you post.

So the only way up is through the deals. Good. Keeps the forum about the deals.
